Mamas!! I hope you are all thoroughly enjoying your holiday season!! May it be filled with lots of love, laughter, and sleep. Or, if not sleep, may you at least be able to kiss up little lips like these:
Mamas, I am delighted to introduce to you our newest member, Alexander. Alex was born on December 19th, and was almost 7 lbs - a record for M!
Both mom and baby are doing great. M is deliriously happy, and I am insanely jealous. I mean, look at that scowl! Look at it! I just want to plant a thousand smooches on it!
Watch out, baby Alex. When Auntie Shana gets there, smooches are a comin'. Consider yourself warned.
Mamas, we have so many exciting things coming your way in 2012!! We've heard from many of you that you'd like us to start doing online style consultations...and I think we've finally figured it out! We'll hopefully be rolling out this program in the next couple of months.
And last year, *some* of you funny mamas referred to us as "shopping enablers". Which made us laugh, of course. It's too true - Mol and I really should never shop together, either. T-R-O-U-B-L-E. And while we do believe Moms should spend some hard-earned family $$ on themselves (WITHOUT guilt - we ARE worth it, people)...we also understand budget constraints and shifting priorities. So we're going to start a weekly column that focuses on low-to-no-cost styling tips that mamas can incorporate into their existing wardrobes. Tips like The Key To Cool Layering (Hint: Think Three) or Using a Necklace as Belt (Bump-style). BTW - if anyone has ideas for a catchy title for the series, let me know. All of mine are hopelessly dorky.
And more good things to come, Mamas! We are just so excited for this next year.
Now I'm off to gorge on Christmas cookies (pooch be d@mned), and get ready for our NYE by painting my toenails with this glitter polish (I like Traffic Stopper Copper). (More ideas on looking cute for a NYE In here.)
We'll be spending our New Year's Eve downtown Philly, with the kids. We'll hit the 6pm fireworks show, then all cuddle up in our room with pizza, a movie and champagne, natch. I ordered these cute little PJs for the occasion (I love Anthro's after-Christmas sale - an extra 50% off all already reduced items.)
I'm doing it again, aren't I? Ah, well. You can't keep a good shopping-enabler down.
